The Protocol Gateways are highly reliable and fault tolerant. They allow seamless conversion between Ethernet and serial devices communicating on different protocols that are popular in power plant sub-stations. Standards include Modbus, Profibus, IEC 61850, IEC 60870 – 5 – 104, IEC 60870 – 5 – 101, IEC 60870 – 5 – 103 and DNP3.
